JERSEY CITY, NJ – (May 23, 2016) CCA was ranked the 42nd largest contractor in the United States in 2015 with revenue totaling $1,430 million on Engineering News-Record’s latest Top 400 Contractors list. The company was also ranked 38th on the Top 100 Contractors by New Contracts list with a record high value of contracts totaling $1,603 million during the same period.

In reviewing the construction market in the past year, ENR quoted Plaza CEO Richard Wood to illustrate how international companies like CCA have helped domestic companies to grow through M&As. “CCA has been unequivocally supportive of our efforts, providing us with direct global contact to their suppliers and manufacturers and giving us direct access to building materials we wouldn’t normally have the ability to reach,” Mr. Wood said.

Mr. Wood was also cited as an industry expert and insider in predicting the prospect of the construction business in the coming year. According to him, the market will continue to grow in the near term. “Construction activity towards the end of 2015 and beginning of 2016 has remained very busy due to low interest rates, consumer health and a growing population. We believe this trend will continue in the near future, and construction growth will remain on a better-than-moderate growth track,” he said.

With booming business in The Bahamas and Panama, CCA is ranked No. 30 on the Top 50 Contractors Working Abroad list, with an international income of $148 million in 2015. As CCA continues to win large-scale projects in the region, it is expected that the company will stand firmly as a top contractor working abroad in the coming years.

In the US market, CCA is ranked No. 34 on the Top 50 in Domestic Building and Manufacturing Revenue list with revenue totaling $1,112 million in 2015. Through its main platform in building, Plaza Construction, CCA continues to be strong in the building sector, having garnered iconic projects such as the 1000 Museum designed by the late world-famous architect Zaha Hadid in Miami.

ENR is a weekly magazine highly recognized in the construction industry. Each year it compiles and publishes rankings of the largest construction and engineering companies in reference to various factors such as their US and international revenue volume, backlog size, new contracts, market share and sectors.
