AHB Won Top 10 Bridges Award

November 1, 2013

CCA’s Alexander Hamilton Bridge (AHB) project was ranked No. 3 on the 2013 Top 10 Bridges Award list released by the Roads & Bridges magazine, a 103-year national trade publication that covers the transportation construction and maintenance marketplace. The award was created in 2000 to recognize top projects in North America that were challenging, greatly impacted the region, and had a complex scope of work.

AHB was a challenging project due to its unexpected deterioration and the need to complete the project while approximately 200,000 vehicles travel through the jobsite. With the combined efforts of the project team and the company’s top management, the project was substantially completed in December 2014 as scheduled.
