A spokesperson for the Consulate General of PRC in New York held up CCA as a good example for practicing corporate social responsibility during the coronavirus pandemic in the remarks themed “Overseas Chinese Enterprises' Projects Maintain Operations Smoothly and Orderly” on April 28, 2020.

The spokesperson highlighted CCA’s Wittpenn Bridge project saying, “Their team adjusted the construction plan immediately by reducing the number of onsite crew to about 40 people, implementing a staff rotation plan and operating dynamically to ensure the work was being conducted safely and efficiently.” “There were no confirmed cases among the staff nor any incidents on the sites, which is appreciated by NJDOT,” said the spokesperson, who also commended CCA’s other ongoing projects across the United States, as well as its real estate investment and development business.

As one of the overseas Chinese enterprises operating in the Greater New York area, CCA is strictly abiding by government regulations and CDC guidelines and adjusting operations and construction planning scientifically and efficiently to ensure employees’ safety and wellbeing during the crisis. CCA is not only working to build bridges in the city but also building a mutually beneficial bridge between China and United States.
