Block One is Live on LIRR Expansion Project
The Long Island Railroad (LIRR) 3rd Track Constructors (3TC) reached a significant milestone by placing the first section of third track into service between Floral Park Station and Merillon Avenue Station in time for the Monday morning commuter rush on Aug. 15, 2022.

CCA Civil Completes Replacement of First Rail Road Bridge of LIRR Expansion Project
The replacement of the 66-year-old Cherry Lane bridge was completed on June 3, 2019, marking the first milestone of the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) Expansion Project.
