Block One is Live on LIRR Expansion Project
The Long Island Railroad (LIRR) 3rd Track Constructors (3TC) reached a significant milestone by placing the first section of third track into service between Floral Park Station and Merillon Avenue Station in time for the Monday morning commuter rush on Aug. 15, 2022.

Sheaves Erection and Reducers Installation Complete on The Wittpenn Bridge
On April 14, CCA Civil completed the sheaves erection and installation of four secondary reducers on The Wittpenn Bridge. The primary span operating machinery systems have been set on top of the machinery houses. The Wittpenn Bridge project team will continue to work closely with the owner and subcontractors to finalize the machinery house and control house in the coming months.

Macombs Dam Bridge Achieves Substantial Completion
A substantial completion inspection walk-through of the Macombs Dam Bridge project was completed on Oct. 9, 2019, marking a milestone of CCA Civil’s completion of all contractual work for the bridge rehabilitation project.
