Achievements in America

CCA has succeeded in winning and completing projects including government housing, major hotels, high schools and universities, roads and bridges, railroads and stations. Of those completed projects, many have received certifications and awards:

2016

• Construction Achievement Project of the Year Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) for the Number 7 Line Subway Extension project;

• Platinum Award of Building Team Awards from Building Design + Construction (BD+C) Magazine for the MTA Fulton Transit Center (Fulton Center) project;

2015

• Tien-Yow Jeme Civil Engineering Prize by the China Civil Engineering Society (CCES) for the Alexander Hamilton Bridge project — the first time the award has been presented to an infrastructure project outside China;

• Construction Achievement Project of the Year Award by the American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE) - Metropolitan Section for the MTA Fulton Center project;

• Best of Design Awards: Facade by The Architect's Newspaper for the MTA Fulton Center project;

• Excellence Honorable Mention Award by Center for Active Design for the MTA Fulton Center project;

2014

• Diamond Award by American Council of Engineering Companies of New York for the MTA Fulton Center project;

• Project of the Year by New York State Society of Professional Engineers for the MTA Fulton Center project;

• Construction Achievement Project of the Year Award by the American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE) - Metropolitan Section for the Alexander Hamilton Bridge project;

• Award of Merit: Highways/Bridges by ENR for the Alexander Hamilton Bridge project;

• Outstanding Public Space by the Greater New York Construction User Council for the Brookfield Place Glass Pavilion project;

• Award of Merit: Office/Retail/Mixed-Use by ENR for the Brookfield Place Glass Pavilion project;

• Innovative Design in Engineering and Architecture with Structural Steel (IDEAS2) Merit Award for Excellence by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) for the Brookfield Place Glass Pavilion project;

• CSCEC Project Management Excellence Award for the River Bluff High School project;

• Lucy G. Moses Preservation Award, the highest honors for excellence in preservation by the New York Landmarks Conservancy for the New York City Hall project;

• Lucy G. Moses Preservation Award, the highest honors for excellence in preservation by the New York Landmarks Conservancy for the I. Miller Building project;
