PROJECT DESCRIPTION

CCASC added a 180,000-square-foot building and renovated an existing 200,000-square-foot building for Chapin High School.

The work included a new indoor stadium, academic building and office building. The project also included a renovation of the original academic building’s laboratories, library and cafeteria. On-campus municipal pipelines, roads and landscape were also large parts of the project. One of CCASC’s biggest achievements with this project was saving the owner nearly $1.7 million dollars and keeping the project on schedule. A substantial portion of the project was completed while the school was operating. The project team completed each task on time by effective communication and coordination  and following the construction plans., When school closed for the summer, the CCASC team effectively used the 10-week window to gut and renovate the 48,500-square-foot classroom building and install 32 new rooftop HVAC units.
