CCA Rises in 2017 ENR Top Contractors Rankings

CCA gained high rankings in the latest ENR top lists and was named as a “major US market player” among companies with an international background.

JERSEY CITY, NJ – (May 18, 2017) CCA moved up to the 37th spot in ENR’s latest ranking of the largest contractors in the United States.

The company, which posted revenue of $1.7 billion in 2016, moved up five spots on this year’s Top 400 Contractors list. It also ranked 32nd on the Top 100 Contractors by New Contracts list with a record-high $1.96 billion value in contracts last year.

CCA also was featured in the cover story reviewing the construction market. The story notes that there has been significant development of international firms as investment in infrastructure grows in the United States. CCA was named as a “major US market player” among companies with an international background.

CCA’s 2016 international income of $256.9 million propelled the company up the Top 50 Contractors Working Abroad to the No. 19 spot, up from No. 30 the previous year. With projects in The Bahamas and Panama progressing well and CCA South America continuing to expand in Caribbean and Latin American countries, it is expected that the company will stand firmly as a top contractor working abroad in the coming years.
In the US domestic market, CCA ranks No. 32 on the Top 50 in Domestic Building and Manufacturing Revenue list with revenue totaling $1.2 billion in 2016. Through Plaza Construction, the company’s main building platform, CCA continues to be strong in the high-end building sector, especially in New York, Miami and Washington, DC.

Each year it compiles and publishes rankings of the largest construction and engineering companies in reference to various factors, such as their US and international revenue volume, backlog size, new contracts, market share and sectors.
